What are some good schools (academically) for Chemical Engineering ?

If so can you rank them on a scale of 1 (Worst) to 10 (Best)

Thanks

Thanks, this should suffice.

Are these the rankings for Engineering in General ?

No Chem E..............................

Ok Thanks. I didn't know US News actually broke rankings up by major.

Hmm.. surprisingly, it seems the gourman ranking is more realistic than USNEWS. I'd rank them as follows:

Minnesota ( especially absolute best in mass/heat transfer in turbulent boundary layers, and the legendary "Prandtl" code)

Berkeley-MIT-Caltech

Madison-Stanford-Delaware

Other schools

RPI is third among private schools in sending its students on to getting a PhD in chemical engineering behind only Cornell and MIT.

Yes, but the alternative is to go somewhere with an actual social scene and women without glasses.

Kind of late but I had a question, Are these Graduate or Undergraduate ?

It's all the same. Same faculty etc.

OK, Thanks barrons.
