Top schools for Finance/Econ with possible merit aid

Are there any top schools for finance/econ that I could pull some merit aid at with my current credentials (total cost of attendance sub 30k per year in the end)?

How much of a “top” school are you asking for? A lot of top schools don’t give merit aid because everybody who is admitted would be eligible lol.

Univ of Chicago but not total COA under 30k

USC

UT and you won’t need merit.

@philbegas I understand most top schools don’t give merit aid; however, I am looking for some schools that have a strong reputation in finance or econ (or even business in general) that I WOULD have a chance to lower the cost of attendance through merit aid.

Boston University and Northeastern University offer merit in addition to USC.

Richmond

As we’ve already discussed UT will be your best option. You’ll get in state tuition and it has a strong finance reputation, with solid wall street connections. I’d also consider IU Kelley. It has a very strong finance program and you’ll be eligible for a variety of scholarships as a top applicant.
