Top Schools that dont ask for High School info?

I have a strong College GPA, with a weak high school and even weaker SAT score. I was wondering if people knew of top schools that dont ask for high school information and my chances at these schools. I know UCLA and Berkeley ( and all other UC's) dont ask for your high school transcript until after you are admitted. Here are my stats:

California Community College
GPA:3.8
Major: Philosophy
EC's: Philosophy Tutor, Work Experience, Community Service
Essays: 7-8/10
Units:60+

High School:

GPA: 2.7
SAT: 1340/2400

well for most schools, i think that if you’re planning to transfer as a junior, they put more emphasis on how you did in college as opposed to how you did in high school. And, looks like you have 60 units which would make you a junior so you should be fine.

I forgot to mention that I got rejected to Boston College…which I assume was fault to my HS stats.

I mean I think there are some schools, but not many. However, the major factor when applying for junior transfer are your college grades and extracurriculars in college. Basically, you’re high school record is meaningless, so if you were active in high school and turned into a social hermit in college, you will not have a good chance.

Admission officers look at a multitude of variables when determining if you’d be a “fit” for their university. They like upward grade trends a lot and you have definitely shown that. And if you have amazing grades you’re first semester, they like to see consistency, not saying if you got a 4.0 that they’d be a little concern if you had a 3.7-3.8 next semester. And then they’ll look at reasons for discrepancies you might’ve had that are reasons for your performance such as course load, medical reasons, etc.

College admission officers is not a number game, admission officers will look at different things, that is why you might get denied and someone with a 3.6 but you has amazing ECs in college will get in. Colleges don’t just wanna see grades, if you have nothing but academics to bring to their campus, then you do not stand out and they can replace you with someone.

Hope this helps.

I’m pretty sure that Cornell does not look at high school information or maybe its just SATs. UNC does not look at your SATs if you transfer as a junior.
