I really want to go to a top school but my parents don't exactly have a lot of money. I know Stanford gives great aid but what other schools do also?

There are about 30 or so schools that guarantee to meet full need for all accepted students as the school defines that need to be. They are highly competitive schools so you would need to be a top applicant to be considered for admission.

These include all of the Ivy League schools, stanford, MIT, Vanderbilt, Boston College, Notre Dame, Swarthmore, Bryn Mawr, Davidson, Bates…there are more!

If you give us a geographic location perhaps folks can give you tips.

Keep in mind, though, that the college decides how much you need, not you. And different colleges might make different determinations. So, run the net prices calculators on the financial aid websites for each of the schools you’re considering. That should give you an approximate idea of how much aid you might qualify for. (If either of your parents is self-employed, though, the results you get might not be accurate.)
