I don't know if I read through the sites thoroughly, but do any of the private northeast schools and ivy league schools offer a master's degree in marriage counseling, or family and marriage counseling? Or distance learning programs from any of the above schools that get the same result? Thanks for your time.

You need to look in the psychology departments. I believe they all offer the M.A. in Psychology. The term ‘Marriage and Family Therapist’ is a credentialing procedure following the M.A. degree. (I believe that it takes 3000 hours of supervision in addition to the degree to receive an MFT certification).
