My second question has to do with just how much weight is given the Writing section when it is considered.

Thanks!

Dartmouth, MIT

Dartmouth considers the writing section equally according to the admissions officer.

University of Chicago.

Northwestern University rep says that they don't have enough data to accurately use the writing section. For now, they'll just be storing your info i believe

So we have two opinions on Dartmouth here. The testing FAQ

suggests that the writing section isn't a big factor YET.

Seconding MIT
