I'm interested in a school with a rather open and customizable curriculum, something along the lines of Brown's or Amherst's. Not necessarily that extreme, but any curriculum that isn't as structured as, say, Columbia's. Can anybody suggest other top schools that have that type of academic experience? Thanks.

University of Rochester is open.

Princeton and many others have requirments, but different types of classes that can fill them (such as art history for history req).

Actually I also read somewhere that Rochester has a very open curriculum. Good luck:)
