Top student needs advice from industry Computer Science recruiters

I’m a high school senior- #1 in my class, 2320 SAT and great community service. As a result I have earned the opportunity to be in the honors program in Computer Science at 3 schools. Approximate 4 year tuition at each school less scholarships is Georgia Tech @ 160K, Purdue @ 98K and Louisville @ 10K.

Obviously, there is a huge difference in cost so I am looking at what value each education provides. I’d like to be happy in whatever job I take after graduating from college (i.e. more important than salary). I THINK that having more job offers after graduating increases the chances of finding one I really like. So the bottom line question is: if I finish in the top 33% (hopefully conservatively) of my class in Computer Science at GT or PU will I have many more DIVERSE job opportunities after graduation vs. being in the top 5% of my class at UL combined with an aggressive job search process?

Related question: if I choose UL how hard will it be will it be for me to get considered for the same the positions offered to GT/PU graduates by companies who may not actively recruit at UL?

Last question, is a Computer Science degree at Purdue = same degree at Georgia Tech? Please note...I am talking about Computer Science NOT Computer Engineering or Electrical/Computer Engineering.

Thanks in advance for any help.

I was looking into transferring into both GA Tech and Purdue so I guess I can help out a bit here. I can’t tell you whether a degree at Purdue would = one at GA Tech, but Purdue is ranked higher worldwide for CS(18) than GA Tech(24). I chose Purdue BTW and do NOT regret my decision. The CS program here is very difficult, but would say once you come out of it you will know WAY more than the average CS graduate.

Edit:
Also, if your main purpose for picking a university was for job placement(as was mine), then I would choose either GA Tech or Purdue. I transferred from a state college thinking the opportunities would be the same, but there were very very very limited opportunities at my old school. The career fair we had last semester at Purdue for CS had MANY MANY companies…here’s a few:
Amazon, Google, Allston, Microsoft, Yelp, Target, Boeing, Qualcomm…I named some of the big one’s I remembered but there were a lot more. Also, this is just the CS career fair, if you goto the engineering career fair there are also companies there who were looking for CS graduates(like Apple). Hope this helps.
