As President, I started a "Going Green Committee," we've improved our recycling system to take paper, plastic, metals, and glass; we plan to run a lighting audit and replace all outdated lights in the district, we are getting new, more efficient hand dryers for the school, and plan to purchase small solar panels and study them to see if solar power is a viable source of energy for our school in years to come.
Volunteered at a local hospital since freshman year, over 350 hours</p>
<p>Work Experience: Summer after junior year I worked at a local amusement park in Games, handling large amounts of money and speaking to crowds on a microphone. </p>
<p>Essays: Common App was good, supplements for UNC and Harvard were some of my best papers I've ever written</p>
<p>Recommendations: One from my math teacher/CC Coach, other from my English 11 teacher, both should be great.</p>
<p>I know its hard to Chance the Harvards and Yales, but am I solid for some of the other schools?</p>
