Top Transfer California Community Colleges?

Is there some kind of site that has the official statistics of the top transfer CCC?

From what I "heard", Orange Coast College is the first, then Glendale College(My school!), and the fourth is like Pasadena City College. Correct me if I am wrong.

you are wrong. all of them are equal. where the hell did this notion come from of ''top transfer rates''? its solely out of geographic distribution and preference of application; and then AFTER that its the whole admissions process. where do people make this stuff up?

IF u're looking for # of students transfered from each, SMC is by far #1. But it's irelevent b/c they're number one is rejections too.

It was just out of curiousity, not that I am trying to find out about the top transfer rate school so that I can actually attend it to increase my chances. It's not that.
I know it's all equally the same, but I am just curious since those are just things I hear about.

Interesting! Thank you.
So many UCLA transfers!

well, ****. guess i was wrong.

i don't recomend anyone to attend smc if they are science majors.

so I guess UC's are playing favorites huh? Either that or they have transfer agreements with them.

If you have the grades, ECs, and a strong personal statement, you're in, no matter what CCC you came from. Generally speaking that is.

Poo! Glendale College is not even on the rankings.

I was a science major but I switched it around. Phew! I'm still going pre-med but as a non-science major this time.

hehe I always hear those dumb commercials for SMC and PCC. blah blah bhal... do you want an education in the sun? SMC is right next to the beach etc!! or SMC is rated #1 in transfers .. is it just me that hears all these commercials on the radiO?

hahaha I always hear SMC! And El Camino College. I don't think I've heard PCC's..

i heard pcc, i think orange as well.

smc is getting too crowded. huge shortage of science classes.

don't do it. the reason so many ucla transfer is b/c it's located close to ucla.

PCC is like closer to my home but I chose Glendale CC just because it's less crowded than PCC. And besides too many kids from my old high school goes to PCC, don't want it to be another high school all over again. And I hear classes are tough to get because it's just too damn crowded!

Dude a few people from my place(Alhambra), go all the way to SMC! Freaking 45 minute long commute. I say it's not worth it driving that freakin far. At least GCC is only 15 minutes away from Alhambra. :)

So highschoolda you're a science major? What life science major are you transferring into UCLA?

haha, i am not a Life science major.

I am an earth science major. I have taken

Calc 1,2
General chem 1,2
Ochem 1,2-IP
Anatomy-IP
Microbio-IP

kinda risky being an earth science major considering i don't really know much about the major and have only taken one geol class. oh well. I think it's better than trying to compete w/ ucla's bio majors.
