^don't take anything away from some of the ucs...ucla and ucb are world-class universities, and make more financial sense at the undergrad level...
anyone else?

What's your intended major?

ucb - undeclared/ pre-bus (ideal situation would be to transfer into Haas as a junior to set me up for top grad. law/bus schools)

ucla - Pre-Business Econ/ International Area Studies

Others are either econ., business, or international relations

^ Sounds good. Haas would be fantastic.

Nice homer choice...;)

^ sorry??????

UCSD and UCLA are closely ranked according to Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Take a look:

I think that according to the metrics used by Shanghai Jiao Tong Univ., UCSD and UCLA are in fact very similar in terms of their research output. However, I think that the public perception of the two is still somewhat different. UCLA still has some advantages as an older school that UCSD lacks. That, and people seem to confuse it with San Diego State (in my experience), which is frustrating.

dontcha,

What I meant by "homer" choice for Haas is this:
A "homer" is a sports slang term, used to refer to a fan because they are part of a "home crowd." You're a CA resident...hence a homer for Berkeley. ;)

actually live pretty close to berk also...:/
