Top UC's with a 3.5?

I HAD a a 3.8 in the middle of my junior year... But I guess that doesn't matter, because my finals decreased my gpa ): Gawd, i'm just really disappointed.

Meh i'm too lazy going in much detail with my EC's on this forum. I'll do it sooner or later. But all i can say is, I do a lot of leaderships on clubs as secretary and event manager.

I didn't take my SAT's or ACT's yet.

But assuming if I get 2000+ on my SAT's and subject tests, and 30+ on my ACT's, what are my chances at UC San Diego(DREAM SCHOOL), UCLA, UC Berkley, and other UC's?

You can go to the UC site and use the admissions calculator to see how your grades and test scores align for the various schools.

But I would venture that a 3.5 unweighted will not be enough for UCB, UCLA or maybe UCSD. You’ll need stellar SATs for these.

Yah you really need to aim for 2100+ in order to be a strong applicant for UCB,UCLA, and UCSD. Otherwise I think you can get into the rest of colleges

I would also like to add that UCs don’t only look at your GPA or SAT/ACT scores. They take a holistic approach.

I don’t know weather that gpa is unweight or weighted…, ugh I’m so disapponted ):

I had straight A’s in the middle of junior year… Then procrastinated on finals…, Sigh ):

Is that your UC GPA? You need to calculate your UC GPA (which you can do on the website).

What were your grades at the end of junior year?

US History(s2) B 85.8% (A- to this ) ):

AP Language and Composition(q3) A 96.17% (yayy)

Chemistry(q3) B 85.02% and i love this subject too…

Spanish 3(q3) B 84.35%

Geometry(q3) B+ 89.56%

Ceramics 1(s2) A 94.11%

never… will I EVER… ever procrastinate on finals… EVER… I went from striaght A’s to this… ): The whole finals week, i pulled all nighters…

Yah, this time i’ll work on my time management as well.

I’m aiming for straight A’s senior year though. This time, with better time managment… lol ):

You are lucky that you have a easier grading scale =] In my school that chemistry and spanish 3 grades would be a C

By the thoughts of that actually, I think my gpa’s higher than a 3.5 perhaps…I’m hoping ! D: I mean I did just calculated online, I never actually got my transcript…

Then again, i’ll see…

@Brick. Oh wow .______. yup i’m grateful I guess xD… It’s too bad their not A’s );
