The really hardcore business schools (like Wharton, Stern, Michigan, etc) look for not only all academic excellence, but a demonstrated interest in business as well. For the (tons of) seniors I know who applied to Wharton, that's what set apart the ones who got in from the ones who didn't. Your FBLA experience looks good, though your rank may hurt you in the end.

In the end, I think you stand a pretty good chance at each of your "attainables."

what would you consider business experience? Do people work for corporate companies or small startup companies and how do you approach people with this?

So i was just wondering what they would consider business experience.. Does it mean working with corportate companies and such or just getting involved in any small business? and either way, how do you approach people with this?

why cornell (as a dream school) if you are interested in business? i think you should consider wharton ed. can you explain why you decided against wharton, stern, sloan, etc.
