<p>wahoomb, I took Mirman’s class and I thought it was decent. Honestly, you have to be a dimwit not to understand what he’s teaching you. He goes over concepts repeatedly and the midterm and final are, in essence, the problem sets. I got a 96 on the midterm and the 4 points I missed were stupid points. The fall 08 section’s midterms grades were significant higher than past years; the average was about 20% higher. From my observation, the only thing with Mirman is that he prefers to use mathematical relations whereas Elzinga prefers concrete examples.</p>
