Top Universities in the World

I'm not sure if this is already mentioned in this forum, but I just wanted to show the rankings of the "Times UK" of the top universities in the world with US Universities included. The biggest difference that this ranking has with the US News one is that the Times UK does not factor in how much money each school has I think.

http://www.ccer.pku.edu.cn/ss/world-rankingsUnis.pdf

This ranking is ranked by international standards.

That's been brought several times before (as if there is any ranking that's never been discussed here. lol). The Times' ranking is reflective of Graduate research prestige while most people here are concerned about undergraduate. Theres no way to measure undergraduate world-wide.

This one is a bit more comprensive.

http://ed.sjtu.edu.cn/ranking.htm

What? I thought it was ranked not only soley based on graduate programs, but both undergrad and grad, the whole package. If it is only based on Graduate schools, then I will be sad because the undergraduate schools that I have a chance at are usually ranked 15 or lower like UC Berkeley. But again, rankings are not perfect as Stanford would say of US New's rankings. Barrons, your link isn't working

Works for me.....

How is Dartmouth and Brown ranked WAY below Penn State?

How is Carnegie Mellon ranked below my state university?

How come I don't see Qinghua University in the top 200?

Lack of quality research and faculty honors probably.
