Top Work Hard/ Party Hard schools?

Helping a cousin with his college search... what are the top work hard/ party hard colleges?

please BUMP

Duke, Washington & Lee, Lehigh, Tulane, Vanderbilt.

Depends on how you define play. Sports, theater, community service? Though you’re probably talking about parting. Take a look at the thread titled Bowdoin life, in it is a documentary on Colby college which is one of these schools.

Other schools who “play” hard: Stanford, union, Michigan, USC, Berkeley and LA.

Dartmouth?

Basically by that I mean schools with great academics and also where the parties are top notch

Dartmouth
Lehigh
Duke
UPenn
USC
Virginia

I’ve been looking at a list:

[Top Party Schools and Universities 2013 | Top 100 Schools to Party At](HugeDomains.com)

From this it seems as UW- Madison, UT Austin, Penn State UP, UVA, UIUC, and U of Georgia are the top work hard arty hard schools.

Penn, UVa, UMichigan, Tulane, UT

How is Penn and UMich a work hard/ party hard school when their almost invisible in party school rankings?

Penn State. Perennially ranked in both the top 50 National Universities in America, and the top 10 party schools too.

West Virginia= Party Hard only

University of Wisconsin-Madison= Party hard and play hard

University of Pennsylvania

I second UPenn and UofM (Madtown96, neither of these schools could compare to somewhere like Ole Miss or University of Miami, but remember the OP said WORK hard party hard, so they need to be of high academic caliber).

I’d add UCSC and UCSB for the party atmosphere with decent academics. Also, UNC Chapel Hill, Vanderbilt and University of Wisconsin-Madison

Colgate’s motto!

From the search my cousin and I completed today it seems as if the top Work hard/ Play hard schools are UVA, UNC Chapel Hill, UW Madison, and UT Austin. I used USNWR and few other websites and frog fiesta’s top 100 party schools among a few other

Keep Bumping…

Chapel Hill isn’t all that rowdy IMO

I’ve heard that before but from rankings it seems pretty high up there when it comes to partying? Anyways you have personal experiences or anything to share about UNC? Another school I must add is UIUC even though I’ve heard the two cities are very dull.

Cornell also made it to the list.
