Topic of Choice Directions??

If you select "Topic of your choice," would you have to write your own prompt on the essay document that you're submitting?

Can you just submit an "topic choice" essay w/o a prompt?

I was wondering that too..
and earlier someone had asked if a "Things about me" [quirks etc] would be an ok topic..with a better title, of course.
Or is expanding on one unqiue thing about you better?

I think that writing on one of the given topics make you look like a stronger writer because it shows that you can take one of those topics and make it something amazing.

But that's just my opinion. :)

The thing about my essay is that it doesn't have a solid "this is what I gained from the experience", rather it's a glimpse into my life in a creatively (I think) written way....

So would the prompt just be: Give us a glimpse into what makes you special?

hahha...it sounds weird to me I guess. =/

^^ That's something like what mine is..its really a vague topic, not I did this and from that became this..or whatever.

never mind- I talked to a Cornell Admissions director and he said that there's no need for writing your own prompt.

Thanks for the help!
