I finished my common app essay - "topic of your choice" and the 3 NYU supplements. I'm pretty confident about them, but I just want some feedback and critique as to how it really is. Thanks in advance.

Anyone? :l

I’ll read them.

I’ll be happy to give them a very good look. May I ask, what school are you applying to? I’m asking this to see if your writing style is steretypical for the specific school your applying to (straightforward boring Stern people, flowery Tisch kids, etc.)

@konig, I’m still at the moment undecided. I feel that my chance of getting into Stern is very slim so I may apply to Gallatin instead.

sure ill read/give feedback

hey feel free to pm me!

@few posts above. Sorry I haven’t sent it to anyone. I’m looking for people who aren’t 2015’ers. From looking at your other posts it seems that you’re a 2015’er and I’m sorry if I’m mistaken.

Send them my way. I’ll read them.

Still looking for more people for critiques!

Just curious— how could you finish your NYU supplements if you don’t know which school you’re applying to? Isn’t one of their supp questions “Why [specific NYU school of your choice]?"

Sure, PM it to me. I mentor kids in my area on writing essay’s for college. I hope my advice will further improve your essay.

I’d be willing to give you some feedback if you wanted. I’m a 2015’er but my essay is quite done – though I guess I’d forgive you for not believing me.

“straightforward boring Stern people”

So what you’re saying is that if you’re applying to Stern, you should write a straightforward, serious essay? I’m writing my NYU supplement right now.

NYU has 3 suppments? Where can I obtain them?
