Which topic did you choose, and what is your paper about?
I chose topic #2, and I wrote about meeting Tara Lipinksi (i've been figure skating my whole life.)

Hey, I applied EDI and I used the common app. However for the supplement I chose the ..... unique experience topic.... and I wrote about searching for Quakers in Costa Rica. :-D Long story...

i wrote about a summer science camp i went to....

uh oh, was that too academic?

What was your other essay about?

kinda weird other essay--it was my common app personal statement, about my dad's bookstore and growing up and hawaii and...hm, yeah. hopefully they won't think i'm a one-dimensional, book-obesessed nerd. that's what the interview's for, right? ;)

I wrote about a scavenger hunt that my friends and i organized during one particularly boring spring break. I thought it fit what the question asked for: a non-scholastic part of yourself. so it was really neat... I had a lot of fun writing it.

I got into Yale EA though... interested in polisci. I don't know too terribly much about Pomona, how is their polisci?
