Torn Between Two Schools

I am torn between two schools: University of Dayton and Indiana University - Bloomington. I was accepted to each with a large amount of aid/scholarship to UD and a large amount of aid to IU. UD is about 45,000 a year and I got around 32,000. IU is 23,000 and I got 17,000.

I want to do design and business I think. IU doesn't have that big of a design program whereas UD's is pretty good. However, IU has a stellar marketing/biz program.

Both are about 2.5 hours from home.

I am so torn. I love both schools and seriously cannot pick.

Any insight from prospective/current students would be great.

Does your aid include loans? I would look at the net cost for each. If your aid includes loans, and the loans are identical for each school, I would pick IU.

My D’15 is interested in IU. Could you elaborate on the scholarships/aid you received? We are out of state and tyring to learn if IU is a realistic financial option.

Also, I lived in Dayton and worked at NCR Corporation, headuqartered near UD. That is a very nice area and campus. And IU is beautiful and tradition rich. My advice would be to avoid loans and go with the best financial package.
