UC Berkeley or Dartmouth College for Engineering?
UC Berk has a MUCH better and higher ranked engineering department, but Dartmouth is all-around prestigious pretty much and is an Ivy, and is giving a tidy sum of financial aid. However, if i go to Berk, I only have to pay OOS for one semester, cuz my family is taking up residency there after 1 semester.

^lol, did you get that from PTI??
Where do you want to live? east coast or west coast. Weathers better in berkeley but it is windy there often. Don’t forget the UC’s are having financial problems which will only increase the size of classes. Where do you think you’ll have more job opportunities and internships? That I honestly don’t know. I would suggest going to both the dartmouth and berkeley forums and finding out the pros and cons of each engineering schools. If it was me, I would go to Dartmouth. Berkeley’s just too RADical for me :)

I think your parents should look more into the Berkeley financial info, because I’m pretty sure you have to reside in CA for two years in order to qualify for instate tuition.

How big are you on competition? On big class sizes? On an exciting city? On a huge school? Cause then Berk’s for you. If you want smaller class sizes but same caliber of education, choose Dartmouth.

How do you know of those acceptances so early?
