Total AP's by Graduation & Expected Score Avg

When do they give State Scholar awards? At the end of senior year? Beginning?

10: 1
11: 5
12: 6

If it's at the end of Senior year, I have a chance to be an Alaskan state scholar lol. Hopefully

well, you can get it any time during your high school career, but that's not to say it isn't extraordinarily difficult to get it anytime before the end of senior year. Usually people end up having the highest number of APs in the state by the time they finish highschool.

i know a kid who went to stanford and took all of his school's 21 ap tests and got all 5's

well i took 5 exams this year. For senior year six or seven exams i hope.

12 APs, so far I have scores for 6 of them: 5, 5, 5, 4, 4, 3
Expected senior yr AP scores: 5, 5, 5, 5, 4-5, 4-5

3 + 2 Ind. Study + 4 Self-Study = 9
Gotten four 5's so far, expecting a couple more 5s, a couple of 4s, and a 2 :p (Spanish Language)

16 (by the end of senior year)-Lang, Lit, USH, Gov, Macro, Micro, Psych, Art History, Chem, Phys C, Calc AB, Calc BC, CS A, Stats, Human Geo, Enviro.
No self studies.

I will have taken 9, all 5's.

oh well if we count macro and micro seperately then I will have 14 w/ one self study... I think I should have like 10-12 5s 2-4 4s

in ur schools wat is the grade requirement to take a AP class

I'll have 10 APs by graduation (as well as 7 IBs)...I already have 3,4,4,5,5,5, and I expect 3,4,5,5.

do AP scores affect college admission?

Most schools don't require them to be submitted so I doubt it...but if you have like straight 5s, then you probably should send them in anyway.

senior yr AP scores don't really matter b/c by the time u get the scores back, u'll have already applied and have been accepted/rejected from colleges

they do if you want to know how well you learned the material, presuming that you wanted to learn it at all, ivy acceptance or not.

oh yea, IBs....bleargh. Yea, well i'll have 15 APs and 7 IBs by graduation, but many of them are overlapping.

hmm, anyone know if macro/micro counts as 1 or 2 exams? probably 2.
then it would be 3 this past year, and 4-7 next year.

2...........
