total number of essays for college apps??

<p>I was just wondering, about how many essays total does one write for all of one's college apps.</p>

<p>I'm aware that it differs for everyone because everyone applies to a different number of colleges, but I'm just looking for a range/average.</p>

<p>Do you consider the 150-300 word questions essays? Like the “Why X?” questions?</p>

<p>13 colleges:</p>

<p>1 school-0
9 schools-1
2 schools-2
1 school-3
2 for common app</p>

<p>so…18 total.</p>

1 common app
1 common app + extension
1 activities essay which summarizes my resume
2 small essays which is my common app cut in half</p>

<p>Don’t write like 5 different essays. Usually the essay topics are similar enough for you to use one or two of ideas. Mine are just different versions of 1 topic</p>
