Up to how many units can you take Pass/Not pass? It is a bad thing to take two courses in one semester that are both P/NP ? Thanks. have a nice day

In L&S, 1/3 of your total units.

Eiffeguy is correct. Also, keep in mind which classes you're taking p/np. For some majors, no classes can be p/np, while some allow a few classes to be p/np. There might be other restrictions based on individual situations. For instance, I have no idea about how med schools feel about taking med required courses p/np.

I see. Well I wanted to take a breadth requirement class or maybe even two pass / np. Can we take breadth requirements p /np?

Remember that you can't take courses to fulfill the Reading & Composition, Foreign Language, and Quantitative Reasoning requirements on a P/NP basis - you must take them for a letter grade. This is generally true also for courses in your major.

I think that you can take p/np classes to fulfill breaths, and this agrees with me by omission.

Breadth requirements can be taken P/NP. 100% sure.
