<p>I just watched The Guardian - a film about the USCGs and I am so awe-inspired.</p>

<p>I have so much respect for everyone who goes through the program and serves the people. Such a selfless, brave job.</p>

<p>They are indeed an elite group of people...interestingly only non-commissioned officers can be rescue swimmers...grads of the CGA are not permitted to do so but they do get to fly the helos that drop them in. :D</p>
