<p>steve, you need to use part of your summer to get on the internet and read about some of this college application stuff. You will get plenty of answers here on CC, but you will also have to help yourself learn by reading, researching, borrowing library books on the subject, talking to your school guidance counselors, etc. Involve your parents in the learning process as well, especially in matters of applying for financial aid. They will be part of that process for sure.</p>
<p>You already have a nice start by having a college list. Research these colleges, their requirements, schedules and deadlines, how they would fit you not only academically, but financially as well. See if you can visit some. </p>
