Tough decision to make

<p>I have essentially two choices of schools now, BC or BU.</p>

<p>BC was my dream school from the beginning, and now I got in. However, they have given me essentially no aid, just a few thousand dollars in loans. Now, theoretically my parents could pay for most of it, but that would really just suck, and I have a little brother who, inconveniently, will start college right when I finish undergrad. </p>

<p>BU gave me an 18k scholarship, so it is much more affordable. And although the school is nice, right now I have no desire to go there. The only lure is the money, and the fact that I got into the honors program. </p>

<p>How do the two schools rank in their science/biology programs? Should I try to argue the FA decision BC gave me?</p>

<p>You should definitely call BC and see if they could match BUs financial package. In most cases, schools will offer more aid to accepted students who were given a more hefty financial package else where, hence “matching” that of the more munificent school. </p>
