Tough desicion...

So, I'm a high school senior who applied to UCs. I've made a few bad decisions in the past, and my HS GPA isn't exactly stellar. My UW GPA is 3.55, W is 3.8. My SATs are pretty decent, SAT I: 2000 (first time, no classes yay), SAT II Bio: 740 US Hist: 730

AP Scores:
Bio: 4
World Hist: 5
US Hist: 5
Psych: 4
Chem: 2 (pregnant teacher, left halfway thru the course)
Eng Lang: 4

And my English teacher said i had a really good UC essay.
I'm a pretty smart guy, I'm just 'lazy,' people say. Anyway, this year I realized I could have/should have done a lot better. So I got admitted to UC Davis and Riverside, but rejected from LA and currently awaiting rejection from Berk.
So, the decision I have to make is, do I go to Davis or Irvine (which I'm still waiting to hear from) and tough it out till grad school or do I CC for two years and transfer to Berk or LA (or beyond)?
Also, I'm intending on pursuing law, and Davis doesn't even have a Legal studies major.

not majoring in legal studies would in no way harm your chances of entrance to law school. Just take a challenging and well rounded course load that shows your intellectual curiousity and analytic skills

a good major for law is economics and philosophy, at least they are in the top 5 of the majors who score the best on the LSAT

I second philosophy or economics

English is a strong major as well for law. Really helps develop those oratory, writing, and reading skills.

Philosophy and econ are excellent choices as well.

So…should I go the community college route? or just stick with Davis? But, I feel like I can do so much better than Davis…

Davis is a really good school, and if your going to do better than why not, however I did hear from somebody that if you have your AA from a CCC then you get a automatic spot at a UC… others know more than me so ill shh for now lol
