<p>So I will be passing through the New York area during my spring break and I wanted to visit Columbia while I was there, but the only days that I can be there, they do not have guided tours. My question is if there are no guided tours that day, can I still look around campus and would it be worth doing if its not on an official tour (will i be able to still see most places)?</p>
<p>Well, seeing as you don’t go inside a lot of the buildings anyways, you could still take a look (beautiful campus, worth it just for that). You could always ask people about the buildings or bring an iphone and just read up on each as you go by.</p>
