I know this should be posed to the admissions dept (or that I could look it up online) but are tours offered at this time of year? Are they college-specific or do they cover much of the campus? I'm applying to transfer to Cornell and will go there to visit next week, hopefully tour, and introduce myself to the CALS admissions office (and drop off my app IN PERSON!). What should I make sure I see when I visit? Anything in particular? What will give me the best in sight to the life of a Cornellian?
Thanks!

There are tours offered right now which you can find on the site, and just FYI, they prefer if you submit your app online.

i know, i just can’t imagine applying online to a college. how common is it? i might consider it. i’ve read a couple of places on their website that they prefer it, but the other way seems more eccentric and cool, haha. i’ll get on the common app website and see if i can work it out.
thanks!

Depending on the day you come…CALS offers information panels run by an admissions officer and CALS Ambassadors…you can also ask for a personal tour as well…I’m an ambassador and I’ve done a few personal tours for prospective. I also suggest you go on the general campus tour if you’ve never been to Cornell…but a CALS student could do this for you as well.

As far as the app…it might be better if you submit it online…most colleges have switched to this. Almost all medical schools also have you complete their secondaries online.
