1.) Gas or electric stoves/ovens? How do they cook and bake?

2.) I keep seeing mixed responses to the "Is there a microwave already in the rooms" question. From what I understand, though, there isn't. Could anybody clarify?

3.) I've found little specifically on the at&t service in the townhouses, though I am aware it sucks for the most part on north. Does anybody have any experience they could share with at&t in the townhouses?

4.) Do RAs get their own apartments (with each other) or rooms (for themselves)?

Pretty much all I can think of that I haven't found an answer to so far.

electric. they work well enough but i was used to gas so i burned a lot of food. oops.

no microwave...one of my housemates brought one

don't know...i have verizon

yes...they have their own and each get their own room since 2 RA's live together instead of 4 or 6 people. pretty sweet deal for RAs in the townhouses. I lived in townhouse C and there were just the two RA's in C for the whole C/D quad. I almost never saw my RAs.

1 Being that these are separate townhouses, is the hot water limited like it would be in a regular house? I remember waking up in the morning to the sound of my whole family getting ready at the same time and it was the most frustrating thing on earth having to take 5-10 minute showers...

2 How's the general heating? I remember reading somewhere that the walls are thin

you can control your own heat/air conditioning in the townhouses which was great. hopefully you won't have to live with any psychos who set the heat to 80 like i did...pain in my a$$.

unfortunately, the hot water is limited. i didn't really think that it was a huge deal though because my housemates and i were on different schedules. BUT when you come back from practice in the pouring rain and 45 degree weather and two girls have already showered...now that is annoying. not to mention saturday night...

i'm pretty sure that the majority of the townhouses are two floors...at least A,B,C,D...i never really went up to the others

they are all two floors except the corner houses and some of the ones that are on a hill or whatever.

I totally agree on the showeres, especially after practice late at night, dirty and cold. Make sure you engage your roomates in a dialogue about that. One of my roomies took 30 minute showeres and it took us very long to actually tell her to knock it off.

I had a one floor townhouse, its actually spacier than the others because there are no stairs, but harder to avoid noise from the common room.

On the floor plans, there is only one desk per room, even though the rooms are doubles. Does this mean we need to share a desk with our roommates?

A bit of warning if you are going to live in the townhouse.

They will try to charge you for everything they can in terms of damages and missing items from the townhouse. Be sure to discuss how you will deal with charges related to damages at the end of the year with your suite-mates when you meet them.

well if something is actually damaged or missing, of course they are going to charge you. i wasn't charged for anything...even the three inch paint chip that i accidentally ripped off the wall. just make sure others take responsibility for their own damages. ex: the hole where my housemate kicked in the wall downstairs.
