<p>I called last week and they told me that semifinalist notifications would be out in March.</p>

<p>Can you check to see when the letter was postmarked? And does it come in a small business-sized envelope, or a large package?</p>
<p>I know someone who received one, too, and I just checked with her. She said it came from New Jersey in a large envelope by UPS second-day air, and it was postmarked yesterday.</p>
<p>So if I didn't get a package, is it safe to assume I am not semifinalists. :(</p>

<p>I live in Long Island, NY zip code 11788. The package was from Princeton, NJ. I don't know if this is the postmark date (I'm pretty sure it is) but its the only date I saw on the package: 2/23/2009. It was sent by UPS 2nd Day air. It is a white folder a little bigger than standard paper size. And its not really too thick. In the top left corner it says ETS Scholarship & Recognition Programs. Within the folder there is a congratulations letter and the semifinalists application (which is basically free response questions about your community service activities) they say you must submit this application by March 23,2009 and finalists will be notified in may. I think this answers everyones questions and more lol.<br>
lastly, in response to someones question if you are not notified in February you are not a semifinalists. (Hopefully it won't be any of you guys)

<p>I had almost lost hope but mine came this morning, once again from UPS and from Princeton, so it should be coming soon and good luck to all of you who haven't heard back yet, I know the waiting game is never fun. I heard they accept 1,000 semi-finalists and then 100 national winners, can anyone confirm?</p>
