That is the positive. I could shine in two sports and get a good education. But I guess I will sit down and assess all of my options and make the best pick. Thanks everyone!

“Yes, at most Ivies, but Cornell has had a notably stronger track program recently. I’m not sure what you’re looking for in a college, but of course you will want to expand your list beyond Cornell.”

^i just wanted to address that, I contacted nearly every ivy league school, and I ended up being recruited only by cornell. Though they have the best team in the league over all, track coaches recruit where they have a need for athletes. So, bottom line, my PRs weren’t good enough for other schools (school that don’t score as well at heps), but they were good enough for Cornell! I’m in a different event than you, though, so I can’t really speak for your times/ event :)

Well haha the thing is that its the only ivy with an animal program so that already limits my choice to just cornell. but yes! hopefully some luck will come by and I will improve my times because right now i know that i am not even close to what they want

Just got back from Heps - as much as it pains me to say, Princeton is the team to beat in T&F.
Penn had a guy HJ 7’6" and Columbia had a woman go 52.4 in the 400M. Pretty impressive bunch of athletes.

Agree, but I think that Cornell has had a bit more success with field events than Princeton.

@varska: by any chance do you run cross country?

No ma’am, but I did offer my .02 on your Ivy Cross Country post.
