<p>Hi guys! I just sent in my application and got the conformation e-mail with my Columbia ID. The e-mail gives me a link to track my application, however once I click on the link I cannot find where I should go to track it.</p>

<p>while you can with a small amount of effort (post #3) find the “track your application” page, it is intentionally difficult to find because you can’t actually access any information yet. in the e-mail they tell you the date when tracking information will become available. even if you can access your tracking information before that date (as was reported in a few cases during the early decision round) that information will be pretty useless, because they truly don’t finish processing materials until at least that date, so chances are that everything would be listed as “not received/processed” simply because they hadn’t processed it yet. it’s important to be patient with this stuff…</p>
