I was wondering if AU has an application tracking system? Or does the Admissions Office contact students if they are missing materials?

Thanks!

They most certainly do have a application tracking system, and in my opinion it is definetly on of the better ones. To get to the application tracker, simply go to the main AU website, click on Admissions and Fin Aid tab at the top. Let the page load, and look for the Prospective Students Portal link on the Left.

Or simply follow this link:
[Prospective Student Portal | Undergraduate Admissions | American University, Washington, DC](http://american.edu/admissions/prospective_student_portal.cfm)

***Note: you will need to login in using the same email address and password created during the application process.

When I applied they were really slow about updating the site, though. I had to email them to make sure everything had gotten there, because it wasn’t listed on the site. But the good news is, if you email them, you do get a reply.
