<p>I love fixing stuff. but i want to know do these guys make much money? i also want to open my own contracting company one day so what would a good major be for a contractor?</p>
<p>Most auto mechanics do not earn great money. A lot of dealerships/shops pay the technicians not by the hour but by the repair. Lots of pressure to work quickly.
What kind of contracting? Construction management might be a major to look into.</p>
