Trader Joe's Trading Post

I know this is an old post, but I had one of those kringles this past Thanksgiving and YUM! We heated it just a little.

My three TJ go-tos are the orange peach mango juice for mimosas, the olive oil and the toffee.

We like the veggie gyozas and the fruit floes popsicles. I am also a sucker for the chocolate covered caramel balls. Have recently found their vegan ravioli and itā€™s very good too.

My new favorite: arugula and shaved carrot salad. Comes with a bit of parm and some crushed almonds for crunch. Add a protein on the side, and the bag makes a dinner for 2.

Just had the veggie gyoza for dinner tonight! My exact words ā€œI like theirs the best!ā€

Iā€™ll have to try them. We recently had the chicken potstickers and our vote was that the Costco ones were much better. As with all food, you might not agree.

Fig and olive crisps. When dipped into a mixture of cream cheese and cranberry hot pepper jelly, WOW!

I adore Trader Joeā€™s ā€“ and just was there yesterday ā€“ but you have to be careful because almost all their prepared foods have added sugar, and I wonā€™t buy them because of that (Iā€™m talking food, like chicken salad, that doesnā€™t usually contain sugar).

I love their plants, nuts, mahi mahi burgers, and for special occasions their frozen chocolate croissants.

Iā€™m very unhappy that the frozen hash browns patties are no longer carried by my local TJ. That was our staple breakfast food!

Oh no, I feel like that is a TJā€™s staple!!! Great in the toaster!!

I just bought some hash brown patties in the last 2 weeks. Maybe just out of stock at your TJs, @BunsenBurner? I have not put them in the toaster, but will have to try that.

Interesting! Iā€™ve never done that. Does the oil not burn / smell?

Oil already in the hash brown? Never has been a problem! Ready in a few minutes!

My mom used to get the TJ frozen hash brown patties during Chanukah to eat as latkes. Son has also done that. The instructions do say skillet or oven, so toasting would equate to oven presumably.

I saw that our TJ had frozen latkes! More expensive than the patties though.

The stores here have been out of the patties for quite a while now. :frowning: Glad it is not a discontinued product.

@BunsenBurner we were unhappy when Traderā€™s stopped carrying the margarita mix we loved.

They even have GF ones!!!

They stopped carrying my shampoo and conditioner and I am bereft-- it gave me an almost unfindable combination of: it works, itā€™s cheap, and itā€™s unscented. Bonus it was cruelty-free.

Why does everyone put scent in shampoo??? I donā€™t need to start the day with a migraine.

My D22 loves their TJā€™s Takis and my husband loves TJā€™s Fritos. Neither are called that but you know.

I have! I got them when we had some people over for dinnerā€¦they were a hit!

Again, I have, but I wasnā€™t a huge fan. But Iā€™m not a fan of that kind of dessert.
