Trading Alder Double for an Elm Triple!

The cost of an Alder Double is just too much for me right now, so I would like to trade for an Elm Triple. I will consider other dorms too.

You should also post in the FB Class of 2016 group or Washington network Housing/Dorms group. Larger sample of students.

Mutual Swaps

Mutual swaps are typically the only type of room change available during the first part of autumn quarter. The Room Swap Forum is a way to find other residents who want to swap to a different room. After you and another resident have agreed to swap rooms, both of you must complete the Room Swap Survey. Please be prepared to provide the following information on the survey:

Your name, student number, and room assignment;
The name, student number, and room assignment of the person you would like to swap with; and,
The date you would like the swap to start (must be arranged at least 48 hours in advance).

Mutual swaps can almost always be accommodated. Some areas have restrictions based on Theme Community approval. Please note: There is a $35 charge for making a room swap.

If you have any questions about room swaps, please call or visit your residence hall front desk.

@travelgirl Thanks for all that information. I definitely find the room swap forum to be extremely convenient. Will pass on the information to others.
