Traditions dorms?

Does anyone know anything about the Traditions dorms at Northgate? MY friend wants me to room there with him and im tryin to find out some more info about the dorms from people that have been around it. I think it is considered off campus housing

Its off campus, but its the closest off campus dorms to campus. However, if you have classes on south side, you're gonna be waking up early. I have a few friends there, and almost stayed there, but opted instead to stay on campus. I'll make you a pro-con list

pro:
-Much nicer than the on campus dorms (You have your own bedroom. Its small, but Im sure you can guess what the advantages of having it are)
-really close to all the good bars/restaurants/coffee houses/whatever
-pretty close to campus
-Close (or at least by off campus standards) to Sbisa dining hall
-Solid sized room, comes with a nice entertainment center and couch
-Acie Law and most the basketball team stays there

con:
-A lot more expensive than pretty much any on campus dorms or other off campus apartments. There are nicer apartments for the price (callaway), but youre paying the same for the convenience of being near campus and the bars
-Youre not going to be able to enjoy northgate as much being under 21
-Aggieland is safe, but northgate is the least safe of anywhere on campus. Its still very safe, but there have been a few incidents
-Lots of athletes and frat guys. the athletes will not bhang out with you. the frat guys may depending on who you are, but be aware that you might find "your" community easier on campus
-Parking's like $450 and you have to park at the top of like an 8 story garage

I'd personally suggest either living on campus, or finding a cheaper apartment. the dorms at tradition arent really that big. Its a nice location, but I dont think its worth the money really.
