i live there now and cambridge is truly not worth the money. whenever me and my roommates see someone taking a tour of the place we joke that someone needs to tell them to stay away from here

i mean, i have no choice but to go to one of the off campus dorms. isn’t cambridge cheaper than both tradition and callaway?

I do not think Cambridge is cheaper. I think there is very little difference between the 3 private dorms. Cambridge might be cheaper because there is no covered parking, but I think they are close to the same in price.

When we visited the on campus dorms seemed so dark and had so few places to hang out and meet other kids compared to some other campuses. Do you all think that the Traditions, as an example, isn’t as good for getting to know other students??

I am also having a lot of trouble deciding on a dorm. Callaway House , Traditions or Cambridge. I toured all three. I liked that Tradition is so close to campus and I could ride my bike to stuff close by. The Cambridge was newer and facility was nicer. My main conern if meeting people and getting involved. I am going to Blinn the first year so want to choose a dorm were their are a lot of activities to get to know each other. I got the feel that the RA’s at the traditions do a lot of things to get freshman aquanted. Does anyone have input on that? Also does anyone have any info on Blinn and clubs, and getting involved? Also I really wanted to play intramuarals and now find out that to play at the private dorms you have to be going to A&M? Or can you still get on a team? Appreciate any comments.
