Train Question

Does anyone know how to take the train from New York to Philadelphia?!?!?!

There is Amtrak from Penn Station to Phi.

There's also Greyhound, which is cheaper and probably faster.

You go to Penn station (subway station east of WSP can take you there), go to a little electronic ticket kiosk, buy your ticket using a credit card, get on the train. That's how I got home from orientation. It's really simple, although it's expensive. Greyhounds are much cheaper. If you go to the Greyhound website you'll see that there is currently some sort of sale- Philadelphia to/from NYC (Port Authority) Mon.-Thur. - $10 one way, $18 round trip.

how much is the train?

about $100, I think. It depends on when you leave and if you use express or regional service (regular)

I know this isnt to Philadelphia but I just took the train from Manhattan to New Jersey last night and it cost like 15.50 one way - really easy to catch too, but make sure you snag an express and dont get caught up stopping at every stop with a normal run. Oh, and if you dont feel like getting a ticket at a kiosk or just dont have time, you can get'em on the train itself while youre riding - just be ready to pay a bit more (not much)
