<p>are there any transfer students who could tell me when they got their admission letters last fall. And if not, cavalier could u do me a fovor and find out foe me since you seem to be Mr. UVA on college confidential.</p>

<p>They did it in two waves last year. Some people heard in mid April. Others didn't hear till May. Kind of a jerk move on their part IMO, but there it is.</p>
<p>I'm fairly sure that didn't happen last year. Everyone should have gotten their acceptance packages on May 1st or so.</p>
<p>All I've heard about transfer notifications is that they will come out no later than may 1. Just wait!</p>
<p>thanks, my only problem is w&m expect their deposit by may 1st and I would rather g to UVA if i get in so i am kinda in a fix. any Ideas?</p>
<p>You could send your deposit to W&M to hold your spot, and if you get into UVA, you can just come here...</p>
<p>or I guess you could call W&M and ask them if they could extend their deadline.</p>
<p>If this is any help, this is what the admissions office told me:</p>
<p>The original date in which we were going to email new passwords was around April 15. At this time, the Deans have not come to a conclusion as to when we will restore passwords, but it will be before decisions are posted online. Decisions will be mailed and posted online May 1. Rest assured that we will contact you if your application to U.Va. is incomplete.</p>

<p>i got into w&m too and they said that the deposit only has to be postmarked by may 1st. so you still have time on may 1st to mail it after you hear from uva.</p>
<p>thanks that really helped plus it could save me $150.00(which could be used to purchase some wheels or sumtin)</p>
