Hi,

I'm currently a student at BU, looking to transfer to a more academically-driven institution - BU is alright, but a such a large university with little/no campus isn't a good fit for me (something I should have though of before I came, I know).

I was an average HS student, graduating in the top 40% of my class with around a 3.2, with good involvement in extracurriculars (several leadership positions). I took honors classes and 7 APs (all passing with 4s or 5s). My SATs were 770 CR/580 Math/730 W (I'm looking to major in journalism, math was never my strong suit).

Just finishing up my first semester at BU, I'm looking at an A- average (a 3.5, maybe a little above) and having been involved with some extracurrics and done some community service.

I've been looking at schools with good transfer rates, and made this list:

-Brandeis
-Lehigh
-Holy Cross
-Georgetown (it's a dream, but I fell in love with it when I saw it)
-Maybe one other, still looking

Brandeis and Lehigh have pretty high transfer rates (~45%),HC an Georgetown less so. Would I get into Brandeis, Lehigh, and maybe HC with my stats? Also, if you all have suggestions for colleges in the mid-atlantic/ New England area that I'm overlooking, please let me know.

Thanks!
