YEAR: Freshman
GPA: 3.6
Activities : staff writer of school newspaper, Model of UN
Lang ability: English, Chinese, Spanish, French(beginner)
Do you guys think that I am in a good shape to transfer to UT Austin, UMiami, Fordham or Yeshiva?</p>

<p>It’s quite difficult to impart any degree of wisdom with only one semester’s GPA. HS information? Standardized test scores? As a transfer applying for a sophomore position, such information is weighted more heavily than a junior transfer. Also, the type of institution (T1, CC, etc) currently enrolled in is somewhat helpful too.</p>
<p>If I transfer for Junior, and maintain at least 3.6, will that be better?
Will the people from admission offices look at which school I am gonna transfer from?
I got 3.8GPA in high school.</p>
