My son's transcripts were not sent by his school until Wednesday, but they were supposed to be RECEIVED in the admissions office by Wednesday. Everything else is on time. Will this eliminate his application? We live in PA and I am sure the guidance office at his school is not typically sending transcripts to UTA so they would not be familiar with the "received by deadline" requirement. Most schools have a "post date" requirement. Electronic transmission was not an option and we cannot control what happens in guidance.

From what everyone here has pretty much figured based on experience and UT’s info is that his application will still be valid, but he will only be reviewed once all “on-time” applications are reviewed and decisions made. I understand that parents and students do not have control over GC offices, but we certainly control when we request these documents and most GC offices have specific guidelines for requests. I know it stinks to miss a deadline, I think most have missed one somewhere along the line…hopefully this was not his #1 choice.
