This is ridiculous. I've tried to fix my transcript 4 times already and it's still messed up. My school said its something that "downtown offices" have to fix. They said it will be fixed by late this week or early next week.

Basically, if I have my UF app before Nov 1 and I send my transcript in, say Nov 2 and it gets there Nov 5 or whatever, will I still be in the same pool as everyone else? Or will my chances decrease? Cause I don't think they start reviewing apps right away?

I called admissions the other day and she told me all applications sent in by the deadline are received at the same time and decisions are made by 3 people, hence everyone gets theirs at different times. The problem with this is that I submitted mine like 2 months ago, haven’t heard back yet, and some people claim to have gotten their acceptance letters already, namely high school grads who go in as freshmen. Maybe for transfer applicants that’s how it works, same time, decisions made on the spot… I hope this helps? in other words, apply to your 2nd and 3rd choice schools, not taking me as an example, because I only applied to UF as it is the only school I’m interested in continuing my education with outside of miami. Just to be safe you know? You should hear back within 2 weeks of the nov.1st deadline, supposedly.

All statements in the above written paragraph are what evidence I’ve gathered through observing other posts on this site.

^^^
Actually, if you are speaking of first time freshman entering directly from high school, as opposed to transfer students that I can’t speak anything about, you do not hear back from UF admissions until mid-February. The deadline for having your application in is Nov 1st, but it’s a long wait. I would check w/ undergraduate admissions concerning the transcripts if you are concerned about them arriving on time.
