Transcript arriving considerably earlier than online app?

I applied EA to Yale, but since my school is quite large it forced us to have all our regular apps in guidance by December. To meet these artificial deadlines, I usually hand in the paper parts a few days before I submit the online part. I handed in the paper part for Princeton to my GC and he said it went out on Wednesday. I had planned to finish the online app this weekend.

However, Yale is my clear cut first choice. If i get in now, my college search is completely over. But of course there's an 81% chance I won't get in. EA is supposed to make my life easier, but I've still already paid for 7 additional applications.

Do you think it would be a big deal if I waited to finish my application until I found out my Yale decision? Would my orphaned transcript lying around the admissions office for two weeks probably result in stuff getting lost?

Nah, I doubt it. They get a ton of random papers every day. Some people don't even end up completing the entire application. I know my transcript and school report were sent about a month before I actually finished my application. They sorted everything out and my file was completed within a few days. No worries =]

Ok thanks. I'll take my time on my essays and submit my app after Dec 16.
