<p>I am looking to transfer to a different college either after my first semester of my sophomore year or after my second semester as a freshman. Currently i am taking a class where i can receive letter grades(A,B,C...), NP(No Pass), or a fail. I think i will end up with a C which will bring my gpa significantly down, lowering my chances of getting accepted into the colleges i would like to attend. But if i purposefully NP the class i receive no credit and does not affect my gpa, however, I will have a NP on my transcript. Should i go for the C or get a NP? </p>
<p>C. I think a NP is supposed to be an equivalent to an F.</p>
