I've applied to Pitt (sent their application, an essay, and SAT scores), and when I logged into my applicant account Pitt's webpage confirmed what I already knew - that my transcript is the only outstanding part of my application. They listed my transcript as due August 12th, but I will not be able to get it until school starts. Any advice/insight into whether or how this deadline is enforced? Thanks.

i’m applying next week, all i did was call the main office of my school and they said i could come pick it up?

I’ve got a transcript from my school at the beginning of summer, but I think that might have been the administrative staff’s last day in the building. I called last week and left a message. I will probably call again and if no one gets back to me, email the admissions office at Pitt

It sounds more like an administrative bug than an actual enforced deadline. You’re already way ahead of the game by applying this early. I wouldn’t worry about it and just get the transcript in as soon as you can at your convenience.

i just looked through all of my stuff i got spammed with from colleges and found one from pitt. it says that if you apply in the summer, make sure your transcript is sent in no later than october 12th. but anyway, did you send in teacher recommendations when you applied because i am applying next week and i have an essay, transcript, sat scores, recommendation from distinguished alumni at pitt. so i need to know whether or not to email or call a teacher or two for one.

if you send your transcript in Sept when you return to school you will be fine.
