I am a junior and recently i was looking at my transcript and i found an error. I am indian but it said I was hispanic. Should i bother to go to the office and change it? Or should i just leave it that way and say it was my high schools fault later on if anybody asks.

They probably can tell from your last name...

You can be hispanic and still have an indian name.
Ex. Hispanic mother took Indian Fathers last name

Im just asking this because i thought since Hispanics are URM's my chances would go up.

it probly wont be noticed if you didnt write hispanic on your common application. thats where ethnicity gets looked at, when they see two contrasting ones, theyll either see its a mistake or call ur school

Yea, don't try to get away with anything by marking hispanic on the app, but it won't hurt to leave it on the transcript.
